Blood Borne Pathogens:
Any employee who has a reasonable anticipation of contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials as a result of performing designated job duties; including but not limited to; healthcare workers, public safety personnel, housekeeping and custodial workers, educational and correctional workers, and designated first aid providers.
Emergency Oxygen (O2) Administration:
In life threatening emergencies, getting oxygen to the patient's brain is critical. When supplemental emergency oxygen is available it can optimize the effectiveness of basic life support treatment administered by the first response provider. This program insures the participants understand the appropriate means of delivering supplemental oxygen with emphasis placed on a thorough understanding of the safety issues associated with these delivery systems. Each participant will receive a text and course completion card. Written evaluation and return demonstration required for course completion.
